Sinthan Top
Sinthan Top is a high-altitude mountain pass located in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, at an elevation of about 12,500 feet (3,800 meters) above sea level. It connects Anantnag (Kashmir Valley) with Kishtwar (Chenab Valley) via the Sinthan–Kishtwar road.
The pass is famous for its breathtaking natural beauty, featuring snow-covered peaks, alpine meadows, dense forests, and panoramic mountain views. Due to its high elevation, snowfall occurs for most of the year, and the road often remains closed during winter months.
Sinthan Top is a popular destination for nature lovers, photographers, bikers, and adventure travelers. The area offers a peaceful atmosphere, cool climate even in summer, and stunning sunrise and sunset views. Its untouched and raw landscape makes it one of the most scenic and less-crowded spots in Kashmir.
